Scarlet von Schwelm is a beautiful 11-12 month old German Shepherd with gorgeous amber eyes, a plush coat and cute biscuit shaped paws. Scarlet is an affectionate girl who connects readily; she goes up to everyone, men and women, and will gaze into your eyes. Comfortable with touch, she loves pets all over and gives little kisses. When we had her in the office, she settled down easily and just quietly observed the scene. This very treat-motivated girl wants to please and already knows her "sit" and "down" commands. A dream on leash, Scarlet walks happily at heel while often checking in with her handler. She meets other dogs well and is a polite greeter in playgroups, preferring to avoid energetic or overly playful dogs in favor of calm companions like herself. (She's not for cats.) Above all else, Scarlet is longing for her own people to love.
